Rumor has it that the singer is searching for love once again. However, one source tells HollywoodLife that Selena Gomez is not about to just settle for the first man that comes into her life.

After all, she had a very ‘intense’ relationship with Justin Bieber before their split and his engagement to Hailey Baldwin.

The insider claims Selena wants someone that will really distract her from Justin and Hailey’s romance.

Ever since the engagement news started going around back in July, Selena has been having fun with friends and taking a break to focus on herself, but apparently, that is starting to become pretty repetitive.

‘Now, she is starting to feel lonely. She really misses having someone to kiss and tp go out with on date nights and stuff.’

While Bieber and Baldwin’s whirlwind romance continues to make headlines, Gomez is struggling to just ignore how they are rubbing their happiness in her face.

The insider tells the outlet that ‘Selena cannot stand hearing about Justin and Hailey anymore, she is trying to avoid thinking about them, but it is really hard because they are always doing something to get attention.’

‘Selena is looking for a guy to distract her from Justin and Hailey’s constant PDA, it is really hard not to be bothered by it.’

But it turns out that she is not willing to date just any hot guy.

The standards are really high as the artist reportedly wants someone with whom she can have the connection she used to have with Justin.

‘Selena is not going to just settle for any guy, she wants fireworks and butterflies. She obviously had huge issues with Justin, but the connection they had was deep and intense.’

Her search for love hasn’t been easy, the source claims.

‘She worries that if she tries to settle for someone that does not make her heart race the way Justin did it will make her miss him more. She’s felt magical, wild, incredibly romantic and powerful love with Justin and she does not see how she can settle for anything less. That is why she’s having a hard time finding a new guy right now.’
